Emily SoRelle Adams began her dance training at the Kirov Academy in DC, and went on to study at Baltimore School of the Arts, the Washington Ballet and the Rock School of PA Ballet. She attended S.M.U.- Meadows School of the Arts before dancing professionally with Ballet Austin and the Washington Ballet. Since moving to NYC Emily has had the opportunity to perform principle and soloist roles with the New Chamber Ballet, Rebecca Kelly Ballet, Eglevsky Ballet and Connecticut Ballet. She has also performed with the Metropolitan Opera in “La Damnation de Faust” and “La Gioconda”. Her repertoire includes works by Balanchine, Donald Bryd, Stephen Mills and Christopher Wheeldon to name a few.
Besides her professional performance work, Emily has also had the chance to teach students of all ages and levels throughout schools in the NY and NJ area for the past 6 years.
